It would be DC, almost certain. The only DB I've ever had was Tesco, and even that's been phased out now.
Interesting about a dashboard. That could be really helpful. I've looked at all the "pension tracing" links online and at the moment, they are bobbins! Gov one just lets you find company names or provider names. Yeah, thanks!
And I don't trust the "paid for" ones. I'd rather just write to every pension company in UK myself, which is a bet all that they do! G

HappyG - have you tried The Prudential?
They've taken over many pension / insurance companies over the years. When I was dealing with my father's affairs I realised that his 3 policies had all subsequently been swallowed up by the Pru.

I combined all of mine HappyG, but they were very small and fees were minimal.
I just bunged them all in nest (which I know has high fees but is easy to use and we wont need the money anyway as I have other savings and investments).

That's really kind Bazo. I have sent an online enquiry and previously a letter in to your company, with all the details of where I lived over 3 addresses, the company, the years I was enquiring about, NI number, DoB etc. Letter was a month or so ago. Only did the online form version yesterday.
Certainly the company (and some friends who were there at the time) confirmed it *was* NPI at the time. The company said that was taken over by Phoenix and a quick google shows that Phoenix def acquired some NPI funds around 2012. So sounds like that is where it should be. But the letter I sent in previously just said we can't find any records with the details you've given.
I'll wait and see, but I might take you up on your kind offer!! G

Yep. Mine was NPI before it was Phoenix. I've a funny idea it might have had several other incarnations as well.

Lip Gloss it really is, if you can do it, do it. Best thing I ever did, yes I still have panic attacks over finances but there is no need. Just takes a while to get used to having less disposable income.
I didnt realise how miserable my job was making me until I left

I’ve realised why I’m annoyed with work - I was in high pressure roles where I was responsible, ie if I did something physically or planned something wrong people could get hurt. Now I just do other people’s paperwork.
