Northern Exile
I met a hill-bagger once in bygone days, that only counted summits he'd visited with a view! Needless to say I don't support that opninion as would have not complete a round of the Wainwrights under those conditions.

I definitely don't subscribe to that view. I did the Munros/tops down Glen Feshie late last year and every one of them was shrouded in thick clag!

Agree Northern Exile with respect to Wainwrights, I've never had a view from St Sunday Crag. And there may be others but my memory is poor.

At least half the Munros I’ve been up haven’t had a view.

I certainly subscribe to not counting a Munro unless there's a view. But living in the north means I only go up a hill if the forecast is good these days.

However having completed 125 Munros in over 40 years, if I ever want to complete the lot I'll not be revisiting ones with no view or being too strict in the future!

Enjoy your day mrs shanksi. Rather dull hills but some good views.

Nice first Munro Dave A. One I missed the view on back in 1986.

That's the lighter grey instead of the darker grey then Ally-C? Hills in the clag is part of the Munros experience.

Hope the Drumochter hills are OK mrs shanksi, don't forget to detour over to the Munro top in the south east, or you'll regret it in the future when you're ticking off the tops.

Great first Munro Dave A! I was going to "compleat" my round there for a significant birthday, but then this pandemic thingy hit. Really must get something sorted for 2023 since I've been stuck on 283 for far too long.
