It's one of the Plym Valley Trail events (organised by Davey Green, multiple Brathay 10-in-10'er). They're low capacity on account of the route and there will be 25 of us toeing the start line! They always book up way ahead, but I got in touch with him on the off chance of a space and he had one. :)

Yes, and he puts on a very competent series of marathons and halves. Really friendly and low-key events.

I came home in 4:03 today, which I am mighty pleased with. I'm now within 40 miles of the finish in Tennessee, so it's feeling achievable.

You must be close to the end?

No - probably have another week to go. I did consider pulling out the stops and finishing on Sunday/Monday but it's been harder this year because of working.

Well done on your time. I would like to come down and do one of Davey's events - hopefully soon.
