I'd love us to do this again. Perhaps we should have some set dates though, in the interests of making it a fair test?
As in, a start date when we all plant our seeds and an end date when the final measure will take place.
Over to you, leggy

Rules ??? I'm too cool for rules - you can't control me
OK - how about the following :-
1 . Start Date - Saturday 18th March (it'll give everyone time to get to their local garden centre and get some seeds/soil etc) 2. End Date - Sunday Sept 10th (kids back at school, no one to look after them anymore - before it gets too windy) 3. Seeds - any Variety of your choice , any colour, any creed , any religion. Just get some seeds and get growing !!!! 4. Monthly progress photos to be posted in the first week of every month inbetween to include your best and worst plants 5. Any disasters must be reported to the forum so the rest of us can feel better about ourselves and laugh........ahem, I mean feel sorry for you
How's that for starters ? - anyone anything they feel needs to be added ?

I think if we say "tallest it's been during that time period" then it covers the possibility of some peaking early. It also allows for regional discrepencies ie those in the south maybe reaching their best earlier than those in the north.

Yes, there needs to be some sort of a compensatory latitudinal algorithm.
