Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Oddly enough, there isn't massive demand for booking Draycote for races in November. The 23rd is my favorite, but I think we should rely on Mick to make the decision. Mick is back next week.

I have got most of the costs together, and the paperwork for permissions, licences, etc. The major logisitc problems are solved.

There is a potential issue with UKA requiring at least 6 months notice, but sir Fetch hopes to sweet talk them round.

When Mick comes back we need any fetchies who can commit to seriously helping to look at their diaries. We suggest a run around Draycote (because it's central) followed by a bite to eat and a meeting about who can take responsibility for which oparts of the organisation. Please take a look at your diaries folks. We are gonna make this thing happen.

I'm sure you'll be very useful and very needed Katie :-)

For anyone reading this thread - we're hoping to have an "organisers run" on 29th June, round Draycote Water (which is where we're hoping to hold the race), followed by a lunch of some sort. If you'd like to help out with the race, it's an ideal opportunity to make yourself known, and handy so that tasks can begin to be distributed to everyone who can help. Drop me a mail to let me know if you can make it.

Cheers
Fetch

Possibly being a bit premature (insert smutty joke here) but can someone set up the race in the race listings so that a) the organisers have an idea of numbers and b) I add the race to my portfolio and don't double book.

As soon as we have firmed the date up we will get it into as many calendars as possible.
