Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I want what Nicholls is having :)
I’m drinking a pint of London Pride right now, it’s too far to walk all the way to the pub with 5 decent beers!

I’ll have a pint of Peroni, please, and some salted peanuts.

In this hot weather I’ve been drinking more lager than I have for years.

Fleecy, have you tried Seafarers? I think it is Gales?

The Dog and Parrot is my local. They always have 7 different guest ales, and change them every week. Mrs Nico and I actually managed to do the whole lot on the picture :-)

I think the King Lud has Seafarers on at the moment, Dio, but I’m not a big fan.
I actually just ordered about 36 bottles of low/no alcohol beer (all Big Drop, really love their stuff), but since I’m in a different county I’ll have to drink the alcoholic versions instead.

According to the Fullers website, there are 3 pubs on the island that have Summer Ale (in Cowes, Wootton Bridge, and The Pointer Inn towards Branston), but none in Ryde. None of your locals back home appear to have it either, but mine does!

I seem to recall the Wight Mouse was very good with umpteen beers, a bajillion scotches and a huge play area so the kids could sod off while I enjoyed my beer.
