thanks for the feedback HG, much appreciated. when you say 'links', do you mean the way the answers criss cross? I don't really have control of that as the shape is automatically generated. having said that, the website is still new to me so i'll deffo have a play around with it.

Yes, I think so. Do you specify the size of the frame? Maybe it's the number of long answers vs. short or something. I'll maybe have a play and see what it does. Cheers, G

Had a wee play - I think more mid length words, set Min Group Size to 1 (joins them up better), and a grid only just bigger than biggest word e.g. my 12 letter longest word seemed to work best with Grid Size about 16. Anyhoodle, the hard bit is thinking up the answers and clues, not pressing the button on the wee app. Great fun though! G

next week I'm planning to do one small one and a large one, so i'll have a play with the size and other options.

it's one of those ones where if you do subscribe then the answer is pretty literally in your face. but if you don't subscribe then I guess there's no reason for the answer to be that obvious!
