Wotcha gang! After a few party menus at rather more cost than we expected, we have gone for a change in pub. There is no parking I'm afraid (or mooring!), but the menu is rather more er, us. thelyndhurstreading.co.uk It is not far from the original, the bus route down from Woodley, or to wander from the station. The nearest carpark is Queens Road (standard Reading car park prices though!)We have agreed bag storage (pub isn't open but the chef will be in from 10) and some tables will be reserved under FetchEveryone. I'll need to do new routes as I can't easily edit them, but the new pub is on the corner of Queen's Road and Watlington Street. We did say that Reading parkrun aren't on their usual course I think - if you were planning to do a parkrun, get an orange bus to Woodley Anyone able to update the siderer as a few details have changed now! |

I've just been researching and the Park&Ride seems to cost 3.50 return and I think that Market Place may be the nearest stop. That looks a lot better than upwards of 10-12 quid or more for the day. About half the distance to the station.

Going Commando!
Good call AR we didn't even think about the park and ride. There are three; one from Winnersh Triangle Train Station, one at Mereoak at the end of the A33 and one at Madjeski Stadium. |

I'll be coming up from the south - M3, A33 (I think) so I think that Mereoak will probably be the car park for me.

Queens Road is £6 for the day on the weekends, you can pre-book on the NCP website. Probably about the same as I'll pay on the train.

Oh, I didn't notice the weekend rate, thanks - I'll probably park there then.
