yes, tapering with abandon too! Ditched yesterdays run and may not even run today, in favour of running in the morning in race kit and at a similar time to race time! So scared of getting hurt or going too far and not recovering in time now. My plan was to do 8 or 9 yesterday, now I'm not sure whether to do that tomorrow or if its too close...

Depending on how my day pans out I am going to try for 8 tonight then a shorter run tomorrow (but might have to swap those round). A couple of short runs next week then that's it! I do feel as though I peaked ages ago though and can't imagine feeling anything other than knackered on the day itself.

Running motivation gone, but hello appetite for eating rubbish! I'm sure that's what tapering is for.
I'm aiming to 9-10 on SUnday, then 2x 3-4 next week.

Hello everyone, welcome to team 5 Prospector
I've been off fetch for a wee while, been spending the school hols toilet training my 3yo which is v frustrating!!
I couldn't run as usual this morning as it's the school hols but I guess we are all tapering so won't make much difference. I plan 10 miles tomorrow morning then club on Tuesday night for about 7 miles then that's it! Apart from 2 days of walking round Legoland. That's exercise I think!
So who else is starting in the Blue area? Have we asked that already?
poppyH - unfortunately I always have an appetite for eating rubbish like crisps etc which is why I have to run 1500 miles a year

Am with you on the toilet training. School have been doing so during the day, but his school holiday we will be trying to go nappy-less at home as well.
My 6 year old lad (autism, hence the delay in training).

Hya Stander my eldest son has Aspergers and didn't toilet train til nearly 5 so I know where you're coming from. They all get it eventually
My youngest has no special needs diagnoses but is driving me bonkers cos he says he wants to go then keeps changing his mind :-o.
We're all a bit obsessed with going to the toilet at the mo... It didn't help but the 3 yo locked himself in a few weeks back and it took us 1.5 hours to get him out when my next door neighbour bashed the door down! He's probably traumatised now!

Toilet training, ugh! I have no idea about the toilet habits of my children any more!
Legoland-lots of walking there, hope it's not too close to the big day. I scared my oldest on the dragon roller coaster (the big one, having been fine on the little one) and now she won't go on roller coasters any more!

I looked at the prices for Legoland as Stander junior seems to have picked up a leaflet from somewhere about it and he keeps going on about wanting to go there.
Me, him + Mrs Stander = entry fee of £106.00!!! And the cheeky fuckers have the cheek to want to charge you an extra £2 for the car park. Daylight fucking robbery.
