Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've had some loose leaf chai tea sweetened with honey, as recommended by the manufacturers. It was different to the chai latte you get at Costa and I think I liked it. I'm going to try it again to be sure.

I have never dared order a Chai in any of those coffee chains... their coffee making tends to be fairly haphazard so I don't trust them with a proper chai either. Mind, I am rather spoilt because I was introduced to Chai in India. I doubt the likes of Costa can do anything resembling a proper chai.

Now I fancy a proper chai... that will have to wait for tomorrow and I have no black tea, other than some tea bags in case I have trade working who fancy a cup of ''proper'' tea...

I have about one cup of tea a month. Might have it this week.

Biscuits are more frequent.

8 am: First brew of the day: fresh ginger root, fresh turmeric root, juice of half a lemon and a dollop of manuka honey to kick start the day.
