I think I just forget any weird dreams. I remember just a fragment on one recently, about a friend of mine wearing a red satin corset to give a ridiculously tiny waist.

I once had a dream - many years ago - that Sid James head (yes, the Carry On actor) was disguised as a loaf of bread, but somehow still alive. He/it was on a chopping block with a bread knife next to it. It was a sort of run-down kitchen but actually within one side of a concrete flyover across a motorway.
He was very worried because two policemen had parked up on the hard shoulder and had entered the flyover. He was afraid they would spot him and slice him with the bread knife.
Then *I* was Sid James' head and was worried the police were going to slice *me*.
And then I woke up.

Earlier this week I dreamed that I was walking along a little lane, with someone else though I don't know who it was, and I looked up at the white clouds in the blue sky, and saw that one of the clouds seemed to be nearer than the others. As I watched it, it moved slowly downwards towards me, going from side to side as a sheet of paper does if you drop it from a horizontal position. Down down it came, all white and bubbly, and landed at my feet. I put my hand into it; it felt like cold foam.

I had several last night. One was about my inflatable kayak, which my mother had bought me as a birthday present, although she couldn't remember doing so. I was preparing to pack it away and saying I hadn't done much with it, when someone (not sure who) reminded me that I had taken nine trips in it, including on the canal, a local river, and the loch at the University.
Then there was the large bird flying near the house which I was trying to take a picture of. It had a very spread tail, so I though it was a buzzard. Then it landed on the grass beside the house, amongst other birds and I took pictures again, over the wall. But now I saw that it also had a beak like a toucan, and then it somehow changed into a man wearing a bird suit. He took off his toucan bill and leant against the wall and we had a chat.

There were another couple which I can't really remember, but the first and oddest was where a cycling event, a kind of alternative tour, with competitive cycling and a kind of satellite event with varied others came to the city (Glasgow, I think) and many of the participants and followers somehow were staying crammed in my house (I think my town had somehow became part of Glasgow). There was a sidebar where an area (just round from the petrol station) had a number of community halls, some for quite specific groups, but the oddest part was where someone passing in the kitchen surreptitiously smeared something on my fingertip whilst passing in the kitchen. It was green and kind of fluorescent, so of course I licked it off. Later on I met up with a couple of participants who were staying somewhere else (city centre-ish) to have an evening walk, but before I left things all started to get a bit weird, the room surfaces were moving about and things were changing form. I explained about the green stuff and one of them said "oh that's a drug, spice probably, it has that affect". We went for our walk anyway, even though the two others had changed into something else (but I knew they were still them). I can't really remember one (some kind of animal, like a panther maybe?) but the other had transformed into a, quite tall, ambulant tower of toast.
