I think there was one where Mel Smith was trying to buy 'a gramophone' and was being mocked for being out of touch.

I suspect the whole sketch might have dated somewhat...

My personal favourite NTNO'CN sketch was the blind man at the pelican crossing. But bringing it back to deathmatch for a moment, let's hear it for Gerald...

I always found Atkinson's, Rhys-Jones' pop at the police, very right-on etc, but also quite odd seeing as their were all nice Cambridge boys and quite probably had no idea what they were on about really.

There you go, the BBC for you. I suspect little has changed really.

Thin Blue Line was a bit more Atkinson
