I was at the Lane when Spurs were playing WBA. Particularly dull draw only enlivened by the singing (Oh he’s got a lovely wife) and the abuse layered on Sherwood every time he intercepted the ball (Sherwood you donkey). WBA were largely ignored and irrelevant

About right for the Baggies, I'd say. re League of Gents: it's fine if recycling pieces from the original series [plural] is your thing. It was a sort of dark comedy 'New Tricks'. |
