About to close the quarters. Looks like 2016 made no impact on the status quo, with the same four big beasts going through to the 2017 SuperDeath at the end of the year. Time to end seeding for SuperDeath winners? Possibly.

On a related note, perhaps we need to cook up a 'Great things' deathmatch. It may be contrived, and will be dull, but it's sole purpose will be to throw up some contenders to break this superdeath final 4 cartel.
A fine ale in a country pub sat by an open fire on a winter's day vs putting a jacket on you've not worn for months and finding a tenner in the pocket sort of thing.
