Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Game 3 is up. If there'd been seeding those two would have been kept apart. Sorry.

Some poor contests in current round although John Lews v/s Choc chip cookies has the feel of a decent scrap. My money is on gudgeon to punch well above it's deminutive be-whiskered weight again. I've always had a soft spot for the vastly underated bottom feeder. Go gudge! ;-)

You *do* keep your fondness for gudgeon very well hidden :)

(our old friend the perch is up in Game 12 - that tie is scheduled for Friday).

The man's a genius.

I find myself strangely drawn to biscuits. Is this a sign?

DT is spot on in his assessment of the gudgeon's prospects; moreover, the performance of mammals overall gives hope for brighter days ahead. :)

Mammal fans should look out for game 11 - tough away fixture for the red squirrel (sciurus vulgaris).

Those of us with a fondness for fish have to pin our hopes for the bottom half of the draw on the roach (rutilus rutilus) which has fine prospects in game 13.

Alas I suspect the noble pike (esox lucius) is going to get slaughtered in game 9.
