This thread has made me laugh :-) we walked along the sand to Joopsy's beach, we stopped to watch dogs running into the water but I had no idea what Joopsy looked like. If I can get up in time 7.30 at the camera to orrow morning sounds good. It was quiet out till gone 9 this morning, definitely best time for a run (not that I ran today, we just walked)

That's Bamaluz beach with the dogs, .B. (or dog beach as it's known to my family - is the "invisible man" still there?)
Porthgwidden is the slightly bigger one with the café, right next to The Island.

We saw the invisible man earlier. The tide was right out so we walked /paddled outside the harbour, it was cool. No seals though :-)

Bint is right, Porthgwidden is about 100 yards further round the coast going away from the harbour. Bamaluz is a lovely little cove but gets cut off when the tide comes in and is full of dogs as it's the only one in St Ives.

We spend a stupid amount of time standing at the top of those steps watching the dogs on the beach.
