Bloody phone posted before I was finished

Great run Kwala 😀 Lemon I have a friend in Dominica Republic sitting out Irma with a husband poorly who's just out of hospital after being on IV antibiotics. Legless is in Cuba and Thomas Cook have refused to fly them home told them to stay put. The English are the only ones left in the hotel! Hope Mr Lemons daughter arrives safe and sound x

Alpen and MM have great holidays ☺️

Nutso I ran in the rain tonight with a friend doing couch to 5k on week 4. Love running in the rain 😀

Right I actually need to try and get my head together about this weekend *wibble*

I have a friend in PR bear the coast, they are safe in terms of not too affected, no power with elderly parents, but safe.

Oh dear Purps hope they all ride it out safely. No power and not too affected still is very uncomfortable especially with elderly parents x

A short one at club for me tonight, just 1.65 miles, I was expecting it to be really tough with tired legs from yesterday but it wasn't too bad. 7.45 down, 5.65 to go!!

Hoping everyone over in the Caribbean stays safe xx

Kwala well done

I went to see the senior physio man again today, he is pleased with progress and I'm noticeably more stable in some of the excercises than a week ago. My legs and feet are loading properly now too :)My hammy is still a tad pesky as is my ankle but he has had a proper go at both and assures me it's just grumbling as they get used to having to do some work and my head being a bit over protective of both. Apparently my subconscious mind is like a stubborn 5 year old and takes some changing!! Excercises made harder all focusing on making my brain happy when driving force through my hammy and knee. Back in 3 weeks, happy turnip at the mo.

Good to hear you're making progress Nutso :-)

2.6 for me tonight - 10 down, just over 3 to go :-) I'm timekeeping at parkrun tomorrow and then running home - 2.2 miles direct route but a bit of a wiggle around to collect some more bugs should get it to about 3.5 :-)

Sounds like you're making good progress Nutso☺️

Great work Kwala ☺️

Tomorrow is D day or should that be M day lol. I'm getting really scared now. I'm massively undertrained and starting to have a real wobble. I'm currently sat in bed drinking coffee and nothing is packed. Need to leave in a few hours or so. CB is going to get to about 3 different points on the route so we'll drive there when we arrive so he knows where to go. That means I get to see some of the scary route! I'm in a bit of a muddle over what to pack so will probably take half my stuff lol. Definitely taking my coffee machine can't stand the travelodge stuff and don't want to change anything for race day. I just need to keep repeating to myself 'I can do this' CB says I can and my PT seems to have faith in me too. I've been in denial that it's happening really but I can't ignore it now it's tomorrow. It's going to become very real when I get to the hotel later *wibble*
