I’d love to Angus but my wife tells me that I’m busy.

Is the no tackling above the waist rule on for the 6N, or does that come later?

I don't think it applies to pro rugby and internationals. Club level and (as far as I remember) not until June, ready for next season.

Farrell's tackle count is going to drop to a big fat zero from June.... :-) :-)

Well, that's all a relief (as a viewer).

I'd missed that RFU announcement about no tackling above the waist. Think it might require a bit more thinking through, but generally, I'd agree with it. The comments from Sexton etc. that there are just as many concussions from head on knee/hip etc. isn't the point. The tackler is the one that incurs those, whereas the the tackled person is the one who can receive a head injury with a head on head, through no fault of their own. And also, I'm not sure how likely the head on boot, knee, hip is anyway.

I wonder how far away we are from full body armour including helmets, like American Football?

Looking forward to six nations - some fab European, Welsh, URC games on t'telly recently (I don't see the English Premiership, is it only on pay TV like Sky or Amazon?) with all the 6N players involved. :-) G
