I suppose it depends on context.. I'm sure we've all pee'd in the bushes when out on a run and in a quiet and discreet location I don't see the problem. But Figgate Park isn't a discreet location, it's surrounded by houses, and not all of the occupants are sympathetic to parkrun so the organisers need to show they're taking a firm line

Absolutely SoapMan. That's my point. Generally most of us wouldn't in a suburban, residential, public place.

But even if you would, this parkrun has asked not to. That is reason enough.

You are taking part in their event. If they ask you to wear green shoes, or hop the whole event on one leg, them's the rules! :-) G

Transform society with designated natural toilet areas! parkhop might prove a little difficult to police.

Great weather this morning for the Alloa half.. cool, dry and pretty much windless. This all helped to bring the supporters out for a well supported event.

I gave you a shout SOAPM on menstrie brae. I was thinking of all the alloas I've done in sub-optimal conditions and slightly jealous of a beautiful crisp spring morning.

Another goo race at Alloa today. Weather helped, but all credit for a very well organised event as usual.

Such nice weather at Alloa! And wow, the hills looked so lovely with the blue skies. Recovering from a chest infection and probably shouldn’t have been running so was very grateful for everyone that was still at the finish. I got such a big cheer I felt like I had won!!
