Nice route, lovely sunny day, spoilt by a very slight niggle at back of left knee developing into something a bit worse, so had to just jog back the last 2 miles. Very small field, as was just announced a few days ago, only 13 runners. Recommend for next year

It is a ridiculous hill. More locally, the Strathcarron Hospice 10K returns to Denny this October (even before Covid, it had moved not very successfully to the University of Stirling for a couple of years). I should be very pleased, but ... the suggested fundraising target is £100. No way could I raise that. Nor, tbh do I want to. So I'd feel pretty uncomfortable taking a place (@ £18 entry) with no intention of raising the amount. Anyway, here's the blurb if anyone wants a look register.enthuse.com
