Perth Parkrun is off tomorrow. They've said there's lots of branches down already and decided even if it looks at ground-level tomorrow that everything is fine there's likely to be lots of branches balancing on trees and ready to fall on runners. That seems a sensible approach.
Whenever I see a reporter stood near stood in a gale I want the person in the studio to ask 'If you're saying non-essential travel should be avoided, why are you stood there?'

Really starting to blow here in Miltonduff, just outside Elgin. We shut up shop in Oxfam at 1pm today where I was volunteering.
Did my Burns’ night shopping pre-work today; just in case I can’t get into town tomorrow.

Feels like it's all over here. Might come back though, but it's been still for around an hour now.

All sorts of photos of structural damage appearing around here. Dunblane train station is allegedly on fire too.

A part of my garage roof is flapping in the wind, but its not a big issue really and a small fix. Might need a few new tiles as well but thats an annual task anyway. Think the worst has passed me now, but its still blowy

It's not been too bad this afternoon, to be honest hasn't been that bad here all day. It was very wet this morning but been sunny this afternoon. Hopefully won't be too windy tonight.
