A big relief. And quieter roads for cycling maybe, if I try to find a bright side

I haven’t listened to it all but I take it living in the shire means I should still be staying there to exercise as I thought we weren’t allowed to leave our local authority - I can exercise in the city after work I presume

In tier 4 you were previously allowed to drive 5 miles out of your council area (ie you’ve been allowed in the city since Boxing Day for exercise, as long as you start and finish in the same place).
She didn’t explicitly say whether traveling for exercise was allowed, but given essential travel only is allowed i would say not. But it’s the travel that’s the main issue, so if you were in the city for work anyway I can’t see any issue with you going for a run while here.

Oh I knew I could have travelled 5 miles but thought it still had to be within the shire - what a dope. I have been stuck at home since Xmas day not meeting anyone
