Andy Butchart was there for our club hill reps the other night, interestingly our coach says it brings up the standard of the young guys who all go faster, for us oldies not so much😀

Andy Butchart passed me on my run this morning, carrying a trainer in each hand. Reckon he’d been doing a track session up at the uni.

Annabel Simpson twice last weekend - Kirkcaldy parkrun (yes, she was first, just wee tempo - 17:50, I think, she'd been on the razz the night before at a pal's wedding she said), then Sunday I was doing a lap of Loch Leven at about 10 min / mile and 3 lads and Annabel flew by. "Hi again Annabel, well done yesterday" said fanboi here!
You don't get that with other sports. You don't see your Mo Salah's playing 5 a side down the local park. (Is that a real footballer name? David Beckham then!) G

Tilly 10k went on sale today, only 11 places left out of 600.

Some handy names on the start list, the sharp end looks like it could be interesting.

Wow, 600 on that narrow course (old railway line now a footpath), that's going to be a bit of a bottlekneck at the start unless youre in the first few rows.
I did the original, and lookin at the results there were 230 finishers and I remember that being pretty busy at beginning. Last couple of years about 350 and 380 finishers. I wonder what drop-out rate they're assuming ? Good to see a race sell out though, most races seem to have been struggling recently

Where did you hear that Ally ? The person that posted up the results ( the famous Ada ) was asked how many entered and she said 444, which sounds about right, as I'm pretty sure the entry limit was 500 and it wasn't sold out.

Someone told me that in the Bridge of Orchy Hotel last Sunday. Just took them at face value tbh.
