Very rough and hard to navigate in places down south, easier running elsewhere but some wild winds (my previous visit to Machrihanish was aborted when the tent blew down!). I think it'll be an enjoyable race in decent weather though.
IanS Jan 2020 12:37pm, 5 Jan 2020 2,124 posts	0 IanS Agreed about it being a tough one. We did the ultra relay last year as a pair which is the last 30-something miles and it's hard going. You need to like running on sand too, as there is more than you'd think along the beach
