Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Is Tullos Hill that bad? Or is it just the elevation graph making it look like a mountain?!

I think it's just the elevation graph to be honest. It's a short, sharp climb.

Lovely :-) I like the horses! Reminds me a bit of the 'faces' in Bedford, but quite a bit more spectacular :-)

Dvorak - where exactly are the horses? I'm coming up to Falkirk in August and would like take my son and nephews to see these.

Teebee they are right beside the M9 (looking closely at the pic, you can see a blue motorway sign). Around km 19 on the route, road access at km 18. I hope you will visit the Falkirk Wheel as well :-) If you like canal tunnels, there is a fine example also.

Junior parkrun is just by at The Helix parkrun.org.uk (it's nothing like the current aerial pic now) and Falkirk parkrun is about 3km away in the glorious Callendar Park on the frontier of the Roman Empire (UNESCO World Heritage site).

I saw those from the road a few weeks ago for the first time. Very good.

Great, thanks. Falkirk Wheel is definitely on the agenda - I will have 4 boys under 10!! Not sure if I'll be around for parkrun, probably wont arrive until Saturday pm and will be leaving on the Thursday. Very bad planning!

For those of you that have uploaded pictures... I would like to start featuring some of them on the home page, as well as linking to them from our Facebook page, tweeting about them, and so forth. If you'd be so kind, could you take a look through your routes with pics, look out for the red box above the image, and choose yes/no for each one? The massively important thing is that if you didn't take the picture, you need the permission of the person who did, otherwise it's not so much fun for me :-)

Hiya Fetchies

If you like sharing routes, or if you like taking pictures whilst you're out and about, or possibly both, then give this a try...

You can now add a nice pic to each of your routes e.g. http://www.fetcheveryone.com/route-1705913 to show other runners just exactly how lovely your route is (or conversely, just what you have to put up with). If you make the route public, there's a handy URL for sharing, or a button that will do a Tweet for you. There's also a little voting panel, so you can vote up the ones you like the best (so we can hopefully generate a nice list of the most-loved routes).

I know that there are plenty more improvements to be made to the routes tool (particularly if you need to edit an existing route), and I'm working through some of those. I also intend to give you the opportunity to record times against each others routes, so you can do league tables if that's the sort of thing that floats your boat

More to come then, but I thought you might like to try the pictures.
