I reserve the right to love the sporting aspect of the Olympics without the corporate bullshit. The ancient Greeks managed it so why can't we ?

The Chuckle brothers would knock the barbie over with a door they were carrying. Excellent.

Since when did avoiding the corporate bullshit become difficult?

I wonder if any of the male athletes are considering tying their genitals back out of the way with a leather thong like the ancient Greeks did.

I always do that in races longer than 10k. Avoids unnecessary bruising/chaffage to steve and the twins. |

Steve and the twins I'm very disappointed that my brother is getting married on the middle weekend, and isn't rigging up a giant telly so we can watch this during the boring bits. And yes, PPB, it is wrong This is dead exciting. All those people who've trained for years and years to be the best in the world, competing on our doorstep? It's brilliant. |

I never usually watch the Olympics much. So, I wont be getting enthused just because it is being held on my doorstep. Watching most sport is actually quite boring. I certainly am not one of those who whinge incessantly about it but I do think that it is a waste of money at a time when people are losing their jobs and public sector spending is being slashed. And every time that I see Seb Coe on the news, I get the urge to punch the TV set. |
