Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

As I posted this on the notebook thread, but it was ignored - reposting here in case people interested - the author Melinda Harrison has been instrumental in setting up a "nature journal app" called Encounter nature, available for free on the iphone (and I assume Android phones too). It's quite sweet, it helps collect photos, words about them, the location, the temperature and you can tag what you saw. I've been doing it every day since late December, it's nice for organising photos.

Could be a hare? Longer stride than a rabbit, but otherwise very similar.

Keep forgetting I have downloaded this!
Not taken any suitable pictures yet, but I have some sightings to log.

Will do it now, before I forget completely.

Our early morning visitors - every day. Wouldn't like to think how many nuts he has buried in the garden
