Sigh
I saw Hawkwind on that tour. With Dumpy’s Rusty Nuts at the Apollo in ‘85 for me - I think?

Possibly. I also think that Michael Moorcock toured with them and did some narrative bits during the Hawkwind set - but I can't remember if that was every show, or just the London one and I misremember it from the subsequent VHS.

I only saw them once but that was considerably earlier - 1980. Levitation Tour. I seem to recall, although the internet neither confirms or denies - that Girls School were the support act and were actually better. My recollection is Hawkwind were a mess. Baker sat behind the drums but I can't remember if he was any good.

They (Girlschool) were a kind of super support act for a while. Didn't they tour with UFO or one of their spin-offs - MSG possibly - around that time too?

Scorpions, according to wiki. Do they count as a UFO spin-off? I think they do?
