We have a new regime whereby the fleecelings take it in turns to empty the whole dishwasher rather than half each. There is a LOT less bickering now over who is going to do it first. I should have done this years ago. Except I believe the provenance of half the dishwasher each was from when ds2 was too short to reach the top cupboards
