Do you make the butter yourself? If so, how?

Me too, LG. There was nobody home when I got in last night so it was dinner for 1. I had a sausage sandwich in ciabatta. I don't usually eat bread. And then I had another one. Just to use up the last sausage and roll, you understand, waste not want not. I regretted it very soon afterwards.

This was a shop bought one. From Sainsburys. Just cashew nuts and nothing else.
I use this as my post race snack now.
I had it after HDS as I couldn't indulge in a bacon sandwich and have used it ever since.

Obviously I haven't been racing (am at work). I just needed an extra snack today and it's what I had in the house.

So do you just smash up nuts until they turn into butter?

I don't
The nice people at Meridian do
hollandandbarrett.com

but you can make it yourself
amyshealthybaking.com

The Meridian stuff doesn't have added salt. Just the nuts.

That recipe does look remarkably easy
She specifies at the end that the nuts need to be roasted.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
