Our German ICE train is running 14 mins late. We have 33 minutes to change trains at Cologne (well now 19). Oddly (because we as a nation tend to believe german trains run on time) our ICE trains on the way out were also about 10-15 late.

ICE trains are notorious for running late. Although not as late as the sleepers, for which delays can often be measured in hours.

When we Danubed it last Summer from Munich, the trains were all minorly delayed as well. That German timetable efficiency is a bit of a myth in my experience.

All the Swiss trains I've been on have been exactly on time though.

I once caught one about a minute late, but it's pretty rare.

On the sofa, just had lunch. Contemplating a short walk, sun is out, or a short snooze in the sun on the sofa, before working on my new website this afternoon.
