[Why not? We used to have (Skype) a 'stepped away' status, or often we used to just text 'off-line, back in 2 mins' to cover answering doors, phone, shouting at family (errm, I mean, requesting them to turn or tone the noise down), or 'bio-breaks' as my US colleagues liked to call them. Or an off-line note to a colleague/pal to say 'cover me ...' ]
