Then I really started to feel the heat, it wasnt baking or anything, but I felt hot and showered with water every bottle stop. Didn't walk until mile 23 when what seemed like the 100th underpass defeated me. Seeing all the cars zooming along whilst the runners had to go up and down the ramps every 100m really hacked me off! (I know, I was a right grumpy guts by that time). Gun time is 5 hrs, took me 2-3 mins to get to the start line, so my chip time will be 4:57 ish, and I didnt stop my GPS till 5hrs so the download says 5.01, and ive guessed the race time til the results come out. Saw Minardi and Jackie, and had loads of comments about being a fetchie!! Thanks for all the support, I owe you all a big beer! (Ill copy this to the 1st Mara thread so apologies for the dupe)
