whiteflash - I'm doing better than you, I made it to Day 3 before deviating from the plan But then I missed yesterday's session (Day 4) due to working from Thurs 7am to Fri 2:30am. And next week was always going to be messed up, as I'm supporting my partner at Lakesman triathlon!
Apparently yesterday was 4-months to race day!

Finding first week of training a toil - not starting from my usual base level of mileage or fitness!

Just got an email offering a free Manchester Legends race vest if I enter soon for 2022…didn’t realise that they had set that up yet!

jda - you already knew about the 2022 race date "Ooooh might have to throw my hat into the ring for that one" (page 5 of this thread), so presuming you mean the Legends club (for 2022)?
I asked a couple of months ago whether there would be a Legends club for 2022 but go not response, so your email is the first I have heard of it continuing. Presumably/hopefully I didn't receive the email because I've already entered for 2022, not because I haven't qualified for the club.

Ah yes you’re right Nelly. Usually they pester me to enter (even after I have done so!) but I think this is the first I’ve heard from them directly. Anyway I think I will enter this time.

I have just seen that entries for 2021 close tomorrow at midnight, if anybody is still undecided whether to enter.
The discounted early entry price for 2022 also closes at midnight tomorrow, after which the price rises by £20

I am assuming some/most of you will have seen the posts on Facebook & Twitter “reassuring those of you training that all is very much on track for both the Manchester Marathon & Half this October”.
What you might have missed is a reply from the organisers about start times saying “Depends on social distancing for exact times, but the Half will go first, meaning Marathon will likely be 10:30 onward starts”. Which seems very late too me.
