Received email from organisers offering their sincere apologies and a free entry to next years race.

Apparently the pedestrian was quite rude to the Marshall, ignored warnings not to enter the road and was being deliberately obstructive..just hope the b'stard has some huge bruises to show for his moronic behaviour.

Samson...pass on my thanks to the organisers..tell 'em I'm looking forward to running it next year...it's on Mrs SODs birthday. Looks like she's gonna be spending her birthday weekend in Mablethorpe....I know how to spoil the ladies... ;@)

Again SOD, many apologies due to this morons attitude and behaviour. It does not reflect well on the town at all.
Hope to see you on October 7th 2012 :)

That is true, we have our fair share of them!
It's supposed to be only 16 degrees here tomorrow...2 days too late!!

Good to meet you on Sunday Samson! It was a great day and I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Mablethorpe despite the weather effecting the result - normally we'd love such warm temperatures! :). Thanks to you and the race team.

Many Thanks Samson for a well organised race. I thought the start and finish area at the school was much better then the previous place....seemed to keep everyone together more and was great for cheering on the runners as they sped past on both the half and the full :-)

So sorry to hear of your unfortunate incident SOD, I did wonder when I saw you walking back by the garage what had happened :-( You managed to give me a 'Go Fetchie' despite your experience, which was appreciated :-)

Whilst folks are still basking in the warm atmosphere of this years race, I thought I'd add a Fetch entry for next years race so that we can all add it to our race portfolios as a reminder.

I believe that the date is right (Oct 7th?), got it from the flyier in the goodie bag. Am sure Samson can correct me if wrong though.
