Thank YOU Samson. The organisation was brilliant! I have to admit I was confused by the silver foil thing when some chap came to dress me in it, but what a great invention they are. And ponchos at the start too. Just brilliant!

Everything about today was just brilliant. Even at Nottingham they didnt have as many marshals. The water stations perfectly placed, everything.

A little text on the way home with confirmation of time.

This is on my calender for next year

Coming from Mr Fox that's awesome. Does anyone know where the photos might be?

I think that taimages.com or .co.uk were there taking them.
visions.org.uk also took some but may be a while getting them on their website.

On the other hand, taimages set off from home but turned back when it began raining...I'm sorry, can't help you with the photos at the moment. I know one was local press.

Whilst checking the official race site for photos I found a link to the "elevation" of the course: mablethorpemarathon.org.uk

I thought, blimey, I don't remember those hills! But then looking at the scale on the left, 80 foot of elevation over 26.2 miles doesn't really count as a hill does it?

Anyway I'm sure Samson or an eagle-eyed fetchie will let us know when photos become available.
