Cav was 9/1 today, 3rd fave, I was sooooo tempted, but held on it to my money after backing Wales last night, couldn't believe my winning streak could continue. Basically he is quitting the Tour after this week I think, to concentrate on the Olympics, and he really wanted yellow having never worn it before, Guardian had whole page on him saying he didn't think he had much chance and the Guardian saying he did.

Well that means that Cav doesn,t have to endure the last week if he feels the pressure. I reckon he can forego the Champs sprint having given DD the first win and the Jersey, even if they may lose the jersey tomorrow.

Did Contador go down again? I think he only went down once in the first crash an 70 odd km.

The crash he went down in was pretty big, so he's lucky to have superficial wounds if that is the result.
