Anyone out there have a plotted route and profile for the long course run? Can see it's 10k and there is an image showing the course but it's not easy to follow and it doesn't show the profile. Long run route is over 'low fells' but climbs 1181ft over Walla Crag... See link here. trihard.co.uk Appreciate any links to plotted route pls. and any experiences of previous years events. It's my first 'standard' distance event and have a feeling that I could have started with an easier entree. |

nandakot -sorry I don't have the route for you, but it is a great fun event - I really enjoyed the run - it is over Walla crag which is a bit steep at some bits - most people were walking that bit, and there was plenty of banter! I seem to remember that transition is in the middle of a field full of cow pats - you have to run uphill through it with your bike at the end of the bike leg! It's a truly lake district event |

Thanks for that K9. I did the short course in 2014 and loved it. Weather on the day was great which I think always helps massively, and well remember that uphill run to transition. Bike route was lovely and short course run was pretty flat. Looks tho long course run is 'challenging'.
