There wasn't two fits for the F-lite, but some other shoes had a different fit from the f-lite. They've just introduced that fit (which they call standard) as a wider fit for the f-lite.

I'm always looking for wider fell shoes, and I'm sure those 190s have never been available in a wider fitting. Wider f-lites have been around for a while, but they didn't replace the narrower ones (think they had a different number).

Well that's really annoying. I renewed my pairs and have wasted money I guess. I'll contact Inov-8 and ask them directly when the 2 fits were made available.
There is also a grip issue with the X-Talons. Nowhere near as grippy as the previous model.

F-lite 262 was the wide version of the 230 (mens).
This may not help.

RS - I should also read better as I see you already knew that the precision fit was the old fit *embarrassed*
I bought my F-lite 195s at the beginning of 2013 and they were precision fit. The 192s I just got started as just standard fit, but they've introduced a precision fit for it.

OK - so either the running shop neglected to tell me about the 2 new fits or Inov-8 neglected to educate them.
I rarely buy on-line but there's an argument here to do that and get up-to-date info on replacement shoes. (I only go to Pete Bland anyway and they're an independent UK sho[.)
