If I cropped that picture it would look like a side of pork! Now where is CT so I can get this over with and take the picture off the gallery!

Gluteus medius tendon strain Not serious just a pain Too much pelvis droop as you run Fix - Core strengtheners, lower yourself as you run so you land with a bent knee and shorten your stride and mileage for a few days Massage in antiinflam creams or take ibuprofen You may or may not beleive this but it is worth a go - Very hot bath with 200 ml of apple cider vinegar in it can help some people
Hope this helps - Remove the pic but you could have posted it in your lycra or other clothing

Thanks CT, but how long til it stops hurting and goes back to normal? 8+ weeks and counting at the moment. Next to no running for the last 2 months, none for the last 2 weeks and then 2 miles of walk run last night left it hurting again so I don't want to try running ever again.

Any particular core exercises? I can do sit ups and plank and side planks and that's about it.
