Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

An idle day off and a spouse unusually lacking in energy resulted in a mini "date" to see Bridget Jones: Post Mark.

I wasn't quite bawling in the isles like the good doctor, but some nice hits in the feels and an overall toned down and thoughtful mood throughout. Really enjoyable.

Back from CA:BNW. Decent enough but I can't say that I am invested in the characters. They just don't have the same likeability as previous MCU characters. Also I don't think that Harrison Ford really works for me in this film.

Before I forget. I had the misfortune to see the trailer for Marching Powder yesterday.

I sincerely hope this gets absolutely crucified by critics and box office alike. It may well be that I am a complete cultural snob, but that looked like ITV at its very worst. And for me that is probably about as damning as I can be about something on TV or film.

I liked the third Holland S-M fillum a lot, and also Bendydick Bandersnatch in the Universe of Sadness. Massively silly but enjoyable. OTOH the last Thor film was abominable. Smug and unfunny.
