Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

:-)

We have God know how much holiday washing still to get through - thank goodness for being able to hang up the washing indoors on a large wooden old-school-suspended-from-the-ceiling dolly, or we'd be scuppered!

LG and Mrs S, get any washing out today or tomorrow, apparently after 7 am Thursday it's going to rain again. It was lovely at 5 am in the Heid today whilst I was hanging out our 2 loads, nice and still.

Washing on the line here. I'm really missing getting the washing out now I'm working full time again. During the week I put the washing machine on the timer overnight and my Mum gets the pleasure of hanging it out!

Loved the fact that I got washing out this afternoon and have now taken it in and ironed it, not what I expected after the last couple of days.

The pegs have been put away for the autumn and winter :( I had my load out the other day and alas it was still damp when I got them in 6 hours later :(

For lovers of the art of hanging the washing out:

Weather forecast: Shall I hang my washing or not ? Check here:

bbc.co.uk

Terminology: 'Fluffing' -- Going out and runninng your hands over the washing just to feel whether still moist. Sometimes not needed but we all like to fluff

'Melvyn' - where you run you fingers through your washing, you think it's damp but you're not sure. It could be dry. You leave out or take in? you've done a Melvyn'.

Also for sharing photos of 'Extreme pegging'. Plastic or wooden they are all embraced here :)
