Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Got my number pack today which means it can't be that far away... I always enter this race so early that I think of it as being ages away.:-0

I'm in White wave. Anyone else?

I think Maz is doing it. I'm still deciding, the builders are going to be in our house then so it's a case of working out if I can still stay the night there covered in dust (and if we have a loo etc!) plus whether I can be bothered doing that and Beachy 2 weekends in a row...

Hello, I haven't contributed to forums on here for years!

Becoming a dad this year has mean't my normal track season went out the window this year, so I thought I'd try a "long distance" race again.

I've put sub 60 as a target and have been given a yellow, "faster paced runners" bib which is great, but does anyone know if we will have our own pen entrance that is separate from the orange wave? The last thing I want to be doing is trying to push my way to the front of thousands of runners!

Sorry Blister being firmly in the White wave category I have no idea - apart from *thinking* I've seen a flag demarcating 'faster paced runners'. Maybe someone who's been in orange wave before can help.

If you're there reasonably early then you should be fine, the organisation is extremely good for such a massive event.

Fleecy is right in saying it's well-organised and should be no problem.

I'm normally in the orange pen and I think you must have your own entrance to the front of that pen - I've certainly never seen a fast/elite having to weave through us hoi poloi.

Hi LazyD, sounds like you're a local? I also generally do an early bird entry on the evening after the run, after a few pints on the way home. I really like being able to walk to/from the start of a race (via the TTTC) and it was the first "event" that I had ever entered, about 10 years ago.
