Couldn't keep off the loo yesterday and dodgy tummy up until an hour before the race :-O Wasn't sure if I'd make 10 yards 10 miles or get to the finish. However, my body must have switched the lurgy button off for the race. Took it steady, had no stomach horrors, and finished with a PB of 2.08.37 :-)

Well done to everyone. Only Fetchie I met was Dvorak. Didn't manage to find any more. RWR, I was wearing my Fetch shirt, I was thinking the same as you, that maybe I was just a bit too slow or the only one wearing a Fetch shirt. Glad you had a great race :-)

Just catching up with everything on here and on FB after heading to the 'rents after the race today.

Well done everyone :)

I knew htis was going to be a get-me-round today. 2:01:17. Not as gutted at missing out on sub-2 as I was last year (2:00:02). I think training might help... :-O

Thanks! I know, I had a little too much left at the end (usually I have rigor mortis setting in) and didnt collapse down in a knackered heap like I normally do.

I'm really a slacker at heart ;-)
Must....try....harder. But I love GSR. My first ever event so it'll always be special. It always costs us about £250 to go and stay though, so it's an expensive one!

I have to say that I just cant gel with this course for some reason. I like the Ignis route and I loved Manchester when I was down there. Going to try Edinburgh in Oct and see if I like that one :-)

Its a lot of money to go to races :-(
