lol! from the SE, so exactly the way we'll be running back along the seafront towards the finish section, and with 2 laps, it will also be towards halfway. Am guessing approx. miles 4-6 and 10-12.

I'm in as I managed to arrange a swop with the race organisers with a club member who is injured. I've never done this race before, but understand it is a revised course which should be fast. There is a £1 charge for parking according to the race information.

It should be dry until 12.00 so hopefully many of us will have finished by then. The wind is forecast to be 9mph ESE.

I'm looking forward to it. No pressure for a PB as unlikely to hit it, just need to get my mate round in under Two, and I reckon I can set him up for that and then fall off if needs be. Can then have a beer.

Looking forward to it :-). Just done my final leg turning run and my grumbly hamstring feels no worse for it, in fact it eased off. Gentle massage this evening and I may get him to tape the niggle as a precaution.

Looking forward to our family weekend away, we are going to the Naval Dockyards in Portsmouth tomorrow and staying over at the Gosport Premier Inn :-)

I am having 'pot noodle porridge' in the bedroom James so won't be at breakfast - the rest of the family will do though, but i may get them to drive me to the race start first as it's a bit far to walk / jog to from the hotel and I don't want them to have to hang around for that long (my boys are only 3 and 6). Legs feeling good after my massage :-)
