However avoiding relegation, then entering the Intertoto Cup, pissing off your manager and signing a host of big name players on massive contracts but don’t like each other, is definitely not the best way to stay in the Prem.

A fairly 'new' batch of officials for the West Ham v Palace match. Thomas Bramall (second PL season) is in the middle, Oliver Langford is the fourth official (only one PL game as a replacement referee) and Alex Chilowicz (an American, as VAR referee) with just a handful of EFL games.

I hope that the game won't feature for the wrong reasons on MOTD or Ref Watch on Monday.
