Trouble is England historically "creates" a lot of these type of players, and less of the creative outlets...

Something it was good to see last night, and I don't know if it only happened because Greece allowed us to do it, was the number of players driving forward with the ball and passes made forward through the channels. Sideways passing round the back has its place, and we did it very well when we needed to regain control of the match towards the end of the first half, but there was also some incisive direct play when the opportunity presented itself.
