Brentford had 24 points before Eriksen stepped on the field for them. I think Toney is the one they can't do without. Bees are safe.

What amazes me is how Everton go from being the "worst team ever" in the eyes of the media. Then one week later, Richarlison and Pickford turn water into wine. Any bets for Richarlison to get sent off as Everton crash and burn this week at Leicester?

That's what winning a football match against the current European Champions does for ya TR :-)

It was good to see life in the old dog that is Everton , even if it does all turn out to be in vain.

Of course we will lose to Leicester. It's away.

I've said all along that it's our home form to keep us up. Won 3 and drawn 1 of our last 4 home games.

I hope you’re all right about Everton blowing it against the mighty Foxes at the weekend but we’ve hardly been pulling up trees ourselves.

I’m going to wait and see what happens tonight before I start counting my chickens.

OK we're now ninth but also mathematically safe. Something I didn't think would be possible at the start of the season.

At least I can now relax and enjoy watching Burnley, Leeds and Everton slug it out.

Spare a thought for Northampton Town. How often do you start the day on the same points and five better goal difference than your nearest rivals (Bristol Rovers) yet on the verge of missing automatic promotion even after winning 3-1? Bristol Rovers are currently third on goals scored.

Score: Bristol Rovers 7-0 Scunthorpe United with 23 minutes of stoppage time played. All it needs is a very, very, very late consolation and it all changes.

It's been a good day for Everton.

Burnley lose and are now down their 2 best defenders. Maybe their resurgence came too early.

Watford lose their best cb for the midweek game.

I was just about to come on here and ask what’s going on? It’s a shambles and a disgrace.

You won’t be this bad when you play us.

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
