Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Getting a 2-2 draw at Anfield and not employing one of Liverpool's former managers ;-)

Similar to Scotland I guess :-O

I'd judge success at Everton getting into Europe.

Honka Espoo would be a match for anyone. Probably.

Everton are a big club (despite what Benitez said) and should be challenging for those CL places. Whether Rafa's a success at Goodison will depend on whether he reverts to the insipid football we saw at Newcastle, or whether he uses and builds on the talent that is there at the club. He will have a rough ride at the start no doubt, but he's used to it. He did a brilliant job at Chelsea and they never warmed to him, despite him delivering silverware and a CL place.

Has top four ever been so competitive?

United, City, Liverpool, Chelsea are towards the upper tier.
Then Leicester, Everton, Spurs, Arsenal all looking towards that upper tier, with West Ham looking to be there as well.

Arsenal, Everton, Spurs and West Ham are way off. Arsenal are miles away right now.

Four speed Premiership again. We're tier 2, just. So (just) are Arsenal. But I agree with Oscar, which isn't unusual.

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
