Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My happiness isn’t dictated by football. I am 49.

Some absolute morons in charge of VAR. Siggy didnt touch it, wasnt interfering with play, wasnt obstructing keepers view and it came off the defender. Then to send ancellotti off, refs had an appalling game.

Stuart your predictions were the wrong way around. The chance of a Villa 8-1 looks slim.

Football used to ruin my weekend, it stirs some emotions now but it’s not an escape, if it was that important I’d go to more matches.

Not having my happiness dictated by football is not a sign of old age, it’s a sign of having things elsewhere in check.

When I’m at the game, I immerse myself, if it’s on TV, it really doesn’t matter that much. Hence, I don’t generally watch games involving other teams.

I don’t have sky, I fucking detest Alan Green, therefore I don’t follow live on TV or radio.

I only hope I don’t get old enough to care about Brighton, Watford or Norwich.

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
